Our Garage Floor Process

Every garage floor starts with diamond grinding — the industry gold standard for concrete preparation. We use professional-grade grinders to mechanically open the concrete surface, removing surface contaminants, old sealers and any weak surface layer. This is the most critical step: it's what separates a floor that lasts a decade from one that peels within a year.

We then apply a penetrating primer that bonds chemically with the prepared concrete. This is followed by a high-solids epoxy base coat in your chosen colour, a full broadcast of decorative vinyl flake chips (from over 20 blend options), and finally a UV-stable polyurethane topcoat — the clear, hard-wearing layer that protects everything beneath it and gives the floor its characteristic gloss.

We carry over 20 flake blend options — from classic greys and neutrals (popular for garages and workshops) to vibrant blends for gyms and lifestyle spaces. The full flake system provides a natural non-slip texture, making it ideal for wet areas and high-traffic floors.

Metallic Epoxy Systems

Metallic epoxy uses specialised metallic pigments instead of conventional solid colours, creating a floor with extraordinary visual depth — swirling patterns, marble-like movement and a mirror-gloss finish that genuinely has to be seen in person. No two metallic floors are identical, making each one completely unique to your space.

Popular for Gold Coast showrooms, prestige garages, restaurant floors and feature spaces, metallic epoxy is applied at 2–4mm thickness using a 100% solids system with a UV-stable clear topcoat. The depth of the finish catches light beautifully at any angle.
